Steven A. Lamb, M.D.
Dr. Lamb graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1979. Dr. Lamb completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1984.
During this time he served as one of the Milwaukee Brewers team doctors (1980-1984).
Dr. Lamb has been in private practice in the Cleveland area since 1984. He is president of Urology Partners and certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Lamb is the Urology Division Chief at Fairview Hospital and
sits on the boards of Community West Foundation, Cleveland Clinic Community Physician Partnership, and previously on the Kidney Foundation. He was honored in 2004 and 2007 as one of the four Urologists named in
Ohio as “Top Physician Award” from the Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Lamb is an active member at the American Urological Association and American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Lamb specializes in adult and pediatric urology. He has special interest in surgical and medical management of kidney stone disease, male and female voiding dysfunction, genitor-urinary cancer treatment and vasectomy.
Christopher S. Reese, M.D.
Dr. Reese was born in Lorain, Ohio, and received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at The Ohio State University. He received his medical degree and completed his urology residency at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo, where he twice received Outstanding Resident of the Year Awards. He finished his urology residency in 1995 and then returned home with his wife, Christine, to Cleveland.
He joined Urology Partners in 1998 and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. He is active in several hospital committees, has been a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, has served as President of the Cleveland Urological Society, and is currently the Cleveland area representative to the Ohio Urological Society.
He and his wife have two daughters, Alexandra and Abigail. Dr. Reese’s urologic areas of interest include incontinence, kidney stones, benign prostate disorders, cancer of the kidney, prostate, bladder and testis, vasectomy, recurrent urinary infections, and general urology.
James A. Kontak, M.D.
Dr. Kontak graduated from Miami University in 1995 with Bachelor of Arts degree in microbiology. He received his medical degree at Medical College of Ohio in 1999, where he graduated with honors as an Alpha Omega Alpha Scholar and a Verron-Valland Scholor. Both his general surgery internship and urology residency were accomplished at Loyola Universite in Chicago, where he was a Pfizer scholar and completed his training in 2005.
Dr. Kontak joined Urology Partners in 2005 and is currently a partner in the group. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Kontak is active in several hospital committees and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
Dr. Kontak specialized in adult and pediatric urology and has a wide range of expertise that includes advanced kidney stone procedures, vasectomy, genitourinary cancers, voiding disorders in both men and woman, prostate, bladder and kidney diseases, as well as all other aspects of general urology. He provides access and expertise in the most updated technology for all urologic disorders. Dr. Kontak is an active member of the American Urological Association and past vice-president of American Medical Student Association at Medical College of Ohio.
